A Boa Constrictor Called Fluffy!

My love affair and respect for snakes continues and all week I have been thinking about the Snake Course. I am now signed up for the next one which focusses on learning more about the Big 5, the Cape Cobra, Puff Adder, Rinkhals, Spitting Cobra and Boomslang. I’m terrified, yet at the same time completely ready to pursue further training. For now I look at these photos taken whilst visiting a friend of mine Anton Roberts at Umkhumbi Lodge in KwaZulu Natal, this is his pet boa constrictor called Fluffy!

I was asked if I would like to buy and keep a pet snake this week, but truth is that I have no desire. My wish is that birds not be caged, fish not be tanked and that snakes should slither protected and free. Oh, what a world that be.
