A Visit To The Iziko South Africa Museum Left Me Smiling!

If you find yourself in Cape Town with a couple of hours to spare, I’d highly recommend finding your way to the Iziko South African Museum for an explore and wander. Located in the Company Gardens, the Museum was founded in 1825 and houses important collections in the field of zoology, paleontology and archeology.  From fossils to the extinct quagga, to whales and meteorites,  artefacts and insight into SA’s human past. It’s fabulous, a place to look, learn and linger. To escape, to explore … These pics may help set the mood.
