Allée Bleue Wine Estate. A Picnic Under The Trees.

Allée Bleue. – When an invite comes from Manley Communications for a picnic under the trees at Allée Bleue Wine Estate in Franschhoek, you know you’re in for a real treat.

On Sunday I joined a group of lucky ones to enjoy a basket of delicious herb-inspired happiness, jars of home grown salads, baked bread, fine cheese and farm harvests accompanied by their fine Chenin Blanc.

What a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Oh and did you know that the estate gets its name from the blue eucalyptus trees that line the entrance? I love that.

Picnics are available 7 days a week and can be booked here

But there is much more to savour at this historic estate, from wine, weddings, accommodation and a fine restaurant, as well as lessons in the art of herb and fruit farming.

Stay in touch with them on Twitter and Facebook to learn more.
