BAIE NICE Undies and Swimwear!

An exciting discovery at Design Indaba was the BAIE NICE range of underwear, swimwear and sleepwear. Run by Simon A. Obholzer and founded by Alawia Sieed, who initially saw a gap in South Africa’s underwear fashion market in 2005 and has been creating since. The range is funky and eye-catching and there is a strong emphasis on SA culture.

I’d come across the products at YDE before, but this time I got to chat to Simon and Alawia in person, and to watch the show where gorgeous boys and girls strutted their stuff on the ramp in the cutest of Baie Nice offerings. Such a treat!

Best of all is that the range is manufactured in Cape Town using predominantly locally produced materials. They are fun, feel wonderful and just a little naughty, and best of all are oh so flattering. Further proof that Local isn’t only Lekker, it’s Baie Nice too.

This is the tin that your Baie Nice product some in.
