Cycling The Streets Of Carpi!

Like in so many European villages, towns and cities – cycling is the main means of transport in central Carpi and I wish there was more of this in South Africa!Good for the environment, good for minimising traffic congestion, and clearly good for the legs – I saw some stunning ones around town … Here cycling traverses every age and spectrum of society, and I couldn’t resist capturing some of the images …

Post Office bikes ready to go out – except for the one with the puncture mmmm ….

Robert’s personalised bike parked outside his apartment block, no need to lock, still there in the morning …

This lady was out doing her shopping … love the baskets that they all have!

Gran with grandaughter in her care, pauses for a moment – I love the way the children’s chairs include leg straps for extra caution.
