Daddy Daddy-oooh At Granddaddy Hotel, Long Street!

I’m infatuated, if one can be completely infatuated with a hotel, that’s what I am. This after Wednesday when I had the great pleasure of meeting the wonderful Granddaddy Hotel team and being exposed to their philosophy that “Luxury Shouldn’t Exclude Playfulness”.

Offering a selection of Superior Rooms and a Sugar Daddy suite, one of the highlights is the Airstream Penthouse Trailors – seven original vintage Airstream caravans that nestle on the roof top with Table Mountain as their backdrop. Artists, designers and clever creative people were given the task of transforming these collectables into individually themed rooms, and they have outdone themselves. We can now enjoy an exciting camping experience in the middle of Africa’s coolest city!

Over and above the fabulous people and accommodation options, is The Pink Flamingo Cinema on the rooftop, the Daddy Cool Pub and Showroom Cafe.

The Granddaddy Hotel is located in the very happening Long Street in the heart of Cape Town, where cool meets fabulous and hip. I get the idea that if you’re anybody, moreso know you’re somebody, this is where you should be rubbing shoulders. This is the place to bring out the ultra Daddy Daddy Cool in all of us. A true Cape Town gem! www.granddaddy.co.za
