Darling.  – Seen at Evita Se Perron in Darling a poster for “boer En Rooinekspel” a Dutch board game produced at the time of the Anglo-Boer War. One player is a farmer. The other player a British soldier. The players roll and move their paws around the board. The farmer has to arrive in Cape Town while the soldier has to arrive in Pretoria. The first player which arrives at his/her destination, wins the game. Strange – but true!
