Food Wine Design Colours Sights Tastes Sounds Favourites!

Tasty offerings were found at the Food Wine Design Fair in Johannesburg, there is so much fabulous work being done by interesting and inspired people, felt good to be a part of it all. My favourites:

Incredible hand crafted furniture from Luke Pedersen of Pedersen Lennard who’s philosphy states – Design + Fabricate + Deliver. Here he is between two of his fabulous tables, with his bicycle rack behind him. The rack is a wonderful way for a cyclist to keep their entrance area tidy. Mostly using bamboo wood, the quality is amazing, simple, stylish. See more at www.pedersenlennard.co.za

Brad Armitage of Brewers&Union was there offering the best of beer at the Beer Garden, I ♥ Beer! www.andunion.com

As was Chloe Townsend of Missibaba with her moutwateringly beautiful hand bags, belts, shoes and key rings – the things that my dreams are made of. www.missibaba.com

Tasty offerings by Teri Jeffrey of MeatMeHere www.meatmehere.co.za, a charcuterie of note! He is to be found at the biscuit mill on a Saturday morning.

Wine writer Neil Pendock was at the Boer and Brit stand offering good value advise and true humour. Loved this Boer and Brit poster. See the website www.boerandbrit.com

Colours were fabulous, art, jewellery, ceramics, food wine all inspiring. And the people of Johannesburg welcomed us with open arms and much interest. This is a show that I won’t be missing next year, and I suggest you be sure to get there too …
