Green Point Stadium and the Cape Town the city I love

Can you fall in love with a city? A friend, a stranger, somebody else’s lover, chocolate, a really cute puppy – they’re for falling in love with, but a city? I say yes, because I am in love with Cape Town!

Yesterday nature awarded the Mother City the most perfect April weather, warm and sunny with no wind. I was in Cape Town and drove up Signal Hill to take in the magical views. For those who don’t know, Signal Hill, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and Devils’ Peak are the four prominent geographical features that hug the Table Bay Coastline, and enfold the vibrant city bowl.

Here I stood and looked down not only on the calm blue ocean and city harbour, but also on the very impressive recently completed Green Point Stadium which will host some of the 2010 World Cup Football Games, starting from 11 June. I wanted to share these pics with you.

I ♥ Cape Town!! and want you all to see why.
