Hermanuspietersfontein’s Saturday Food Market!

Whilst in Hermanus this weekend I popped in to Hermanuspieterfontein’s (the original name of Hermanus) who host a traditional Saturday morning community market. This has become the place to meet friends and family for breakfast or lunch, enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. They are child and dog safe and friendly and very against plastic packaging! The courtyard is perfect for enjoying your coffee and farm produce, as well as a glass of wine in the sunshine, good place for hooking up with friends too.

Fabulous selection of cheeses and cold meats to entice an extravagant purchase. Yum!

A bunch of proteas at the entrance next to a sign that indicates R20.00 per bunch, put the money in the honesty box – now that’s a lovely thing to see ….
