Hermanuspietersfontein’s Saturday Food Market!

Whilst in Hermanus this weekend I popped in to Hermanuspieterfontein’s (the original name of Hermanus) who host a traditional Saturday morning community market. This has become the place to meet friends and family for breakfast or lunch, enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. They are child and dog safe and friendly and very against plastic packaging! Open every Saturday no matter what the weather. Well worth a visit to browse thefood tables and the wine tasting is free!!! Just wonderful in every way … More at bit.ly/bybGS6

The courtyard is perfect for enjoying your coffee and farm produce, as well as a glass of wine in the sunshine, good place for hooking up with friends too.

Fabulous selection of cheeses and cold meats to entice an extravagant purchase. Yum!

A bunch of proteas at the entrance next to a sign that indicates R20.00 per bunch, put the money in the honesty box – now that’s a lovely thing to see ….
