Loads of gorgeous young men, better know at the Swiss Guards, are responsible for the security at Vatican City. We’ve all seen the Dan Brown movies and know that they are there to guard the entrances, protect the personal safety of the Pope and pose for photographs. Criteria to join is rather strict – must be Catholic, single males with Swiss citizenship who have completed basic training with the Swiss military.
