Mabuesehube, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park! African Skies, Ground Squirrels And Roof Top Tents!

One of my favourite holidays is an overland safari to Mabuesehube in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Southern Botswana. As a family we take a week here whenever time allows. These pics were collected on the last trip.

Reading under an acacia tree, making the most of the shade in a hote December.

Bathroom run in the Summer rain to put water in our fold up basin. The ‘facilities’ consist of a long drop loo and much appreciated water from a borehole, cold yet lukewarm in the summer.

Watermelon, African skies and sunshine make for a very happy girl …

We shared the campsite with the ground squirrels, amazing little things. Such a treat.
