Nabygelegen, I Do Love The Smell Of Merlot In The Morning!

Now that you have your accommodation resolved and there’s no need to drive, I can tell you with the lick of my lips that Nabygelegen Wine Estate offers a wonderful selection of wines for tasting.

The day I visited they were bottling their Merlot, a favorite of mine. It was 09h00 in the morning, yet I happily accepted a glass of red from James McKenzie – owner and winemaker – and lingered for a chat as I familiarized myself with the uniqueness of this particular Harvest.
