Need An Inspired Coffee Break, Try The Field Office In Cape Town!

Working on the premise that we all have a Field Office, that place we go to for inspiration, a bite, great coffee and conversation, the Field Office coffee and snack bar is owned by Luke Pederson who is very ably assisted by Amy, Will and George. The walls are covered in inspiring local art, the wi-fi connects, together with the coffee, snacks and friendly humour is sure to make this spot a favourite.

Situated on the corner of Harrington and Barrack in Cape Town, it’s not easy to find, is completely different to any place I’ve been to, and makes me want to own a coffee shop in the city centre. Do you think they’ll sell? Their website reads like an art blog – have a look at www.fieldoffice.co.za/

Luke on his iPad – gadget envy!

Some of the art on sale in the shop. All chairs and tables are also made by local designers.

Backpacks that encourage cycling, just beautiful and made in Cape Town.
