One Two Three Bungy!!! Ever Felt Like Throwing Yourself Off a Bridge?

In early February after a pretty busy couple of months, some major changes in my life, the sale of my company and a complete move in career – I was ready to throw myself off a bridge. As a lover of life I made the investment in a tightly knotted bungy rope around my ankles, this way the experience with a happy ending.

Bloukrans Bungy run by FACE ADRENALIN is situated on the N2 at the Tsitsikamma Forest Village Market, just 40km east of Plettenberg Bay – and IS the highest commercially operated Bungy jump bridge in the world. This is where I went!

Secured in a full body harness and walked along a specially designed catwalk suspended beneath the road surface, I was lead to the top of the arch 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. Here after final instructions and strapping up, a countdown and off I went! One Two Three BUNGY!!!!!

Highly highly recommended – nothing like the freedom of that 4 second free fall! All staff are so professional and this is something that South Africa can proudly market to the adventure traveller.

Excited – I can do this!

Off I go – the freedom of flying …..

Having being met by this rather gorgeous big and strong rope rat I was gently brought back up to the bridge.
