Table Mountain Dwellers!

You will meet all sorts of wonderful people both local and international whilst taking in the views and magnificence of Table Mountain, and you may want to look out for these little guys too …

The Cape Crag Lizard gets to sun itself all day without a worry in the world and with the best view in the world. Lovely to see.

Red Winged Starling, very friendly and accustomed to people, also get really close in a bid to share any food that may be out.

If you’re lucky you’ll see a Rock Hyrax or Dassie. Some are rather brave and will come quite close to the paths, but if you look out for them on the rocks you may catch a glimpse of families sunning themselves. NOTE – Please don’t feed them!
