It has 8000 acres of ski area comprised of 32km² of mountainside, over 200 pistes, and upgraded skiing facilities. It’s both child-friendly and ideal for a fun Friday night out.

5. Vail Ski Resort, USA

The USA’s biggest resort, Vail Ski in Colorado has a skiable area of more than 5000 hectares. It consists of 193 runs which suit beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers. It offers plenty of activities for kids as well as adults. It also has two snowparks and a superpipe that make it a popular destination for many people every year. This resort has been named one of the best ski resorts in America, too.

6. Niseko, Japan

Located on the north island of Hokkaido, Niseko is one of Japan’s most popular ski resorts. It has around 800 acres of skiable area and offers incredible views of Mt Yotei. If you need a warm-up after a day of skiing, Niseko is home to numerous hot springs all around the mountain. Get a taste of Japanese food while staying at the luxurious hotels in the surrounding area.

7. Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy

At the Cortina, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dolomite Alps, icy waterfalls, and Lagazuoi during a free ski bus tour. Kid-friendly ice-skating areas and 120km slopes for intermediate as well as expert skiers make the resort the perfect destination.
