Tintswalo Safari Lodge – We enjoyed an afternoon game drive with our ranger and tracker, who pointed out various sightings for us. We spent much time with a female lion who lazed almost unnoticed in the long grass. The time with her paid off as she rose to roar. The intensely powerful sound of Africa reverberating through my very being. A stop for sundowners saw the sun set on a special day whilst we listened to African fables and African song. Sometimes a guide is so very much more than that.
