Vatican Museum’s Carved Characters!

Such detail and intricacies by the great artists that contributed to the wealth of sculptures found at Vatican City, some of them so life like it’s as though they have been turned to stone rather than carved from marble. Others rather glitzy and a little terrifying.

My I love being here *happy grin*. Here I am next to the Laocoon Group in the Octagonal Courtyard.
