Whatever You Do Visit Firefly Eating House in Knsyna!

My recent trip to Knysna included wonderful culinary treats and I have much to say, starting with FIREFLY EATING HOUSE AND CHAI BAR.

We arrived at the original 1906 Knysna tin mining house on the Knysna lagoon on a very cold and stormy night, and were immediately warmed by the iridescent red walls, pink ceiling, fairy lights, roaring fire, charming hosts and incredible aromas.

As Sanchia says – “here we explore spices”, and the menu was the most original and exciting we’d seen in years. Presentation, flavours and fresh quality ingredients wowed me and I can’t wait to return – or recommend it enough. This is not a curry house, this is an exploration of tastes, a new discovery. Sanchia and her mother Deli invite us into a brilliant new world – let them! Much more on www.fireflyeatinghouse.co.za
