White Elephant Safari Lodge; Game Drives, Coffee Breaks and Hides!

Opening vehicle early morning Game Drives are chilly things in June, although not when hot water bottles and blankies re provided to ward of the cold as you explore the bush for game sightings. Stopping midway for a coffee or hot chocolate break is another treat that thrills me. This stop is called “Ooom Kallie’s View Point, and I see exactly why Oom Kallie loves it so.

On this particular occasion we ended our activity with a visit to the hide (below), located on a water, here warthog, impala and terrepins delighted us.
