With so many friends heading to Namibia for the Christmas holidays, I thought I would share this photo taken of Dune 45 in Sossusvlei. So called because it lies 45km past Sesriem on the road to Sossusvlei. It is also known as the most photographed dune in the world, most likely because of its shape and closeness to the road, which makes it convenient to stop at and take pictures.
