Not only does this exclusive 16 room boutique lodge offer all the spacious luxury one could aspire to, it’s a place where you are warmly welcomed, one that lives firmly up to their ‘close to heaven but down to earth’ philosophy.
A stay here encompasses time around the homestead with it’s bar, wine cellar, restaurant, terrace and two lounges that invite you to make yourself at home. On our chilly nights in we snuggled up to the fireplace with a glass of red in our hands.
Beyond the obvious and the beauty, here a strong sense of community, a commitment to nature and dedication to conservation with a focus on the Cape leopard and annual Cedar Tree planting. I spent the weekend there for their Cedar Tree Planting ceremony, and there was riel dancing.
