Falling In Love With Africa At A Young Age.

Over 10 fabulous years I established and ran the wonderful Africa Awaits Tours & Safaris tour operating company, arranging bespoke personalised holidays for clients from around the world. The best part of it was that it kept my eye fresh as I again and again experienced the beauty and wonder of Southern Africa through new eyes, sometimes those of children.

This collection of pics was taken whilst accompanying Manon and her mother on a trip to Namibia. Children really “see” Africa, the animals, the creatures, the birds, the rocks, the colours, the sky.  Ending each day by marking off the things we’d seen, and reading from an African fable is magical. One is never too young to fall in love with Africa! And I’m determined never to outgrow this passion of mine.
