Greenpop. Zambia. – When in Livingstone, take a visit to the Livingstone Museum, in the heart of this frontier town. Established in 1934, its the largest and oldest museum in Zambia and holds a vast archaeological collection, a collection depicting the biodiversity of Zambia as well as a rich ethnographic dating back to the early 20th century.

But its the David Livingstone memorabilia, handwritten letters and personal artefacts that intrigued me. That and the crafted displays of life in this region, present and of a thankfully bygone era.

A worthy stop on the way to the Falls and Markets.
