I joined Cathy Retief-Neil on her ‘Passport to the World’ show on Radio Helderberg 93.6fm to talk about my visit to Kenya in August, working with the Local Ocean Trust: Watamu Turtle Watch and learning about the many Wonders of Watamu. Have a listen here as I share some of my lessons in conservation, the fragility of this species, the heartache and struggles and the way this gorgeous coastal area is making a very big difference … This is an Africa more people need to see.

For more on my visits to Kenya, please see here. Also for more of my posts on Watamu and the Turtle Watch, here. Thanks too for the cover pic my best travel buddy Linda Markovina x.
