A Legendary House Party with Travel Designer. We Are Africa.

Following up on my post – We Are Africa. Flavours, Feasts, Endless Stories, I attended the most incredible We Are Africa House Party hosted by Ozzy Yerlikaya of Travel Designer, who I partner with designing dream holiday itineraries. Together with African Bush Camps, we were joined by some of the city’s most celebrated legends, amongst them Freshly Ground, South Africa’s best known Afro-fusion Band did a private performance and Jonathan Shapiro – Iconic Zapiro cartoonist, Amy Kleinhans-Curd – the first non-white Miss South Africa, Michelle Hambly Grobler – Porsche Personality of 2015, Car Collector and Rally Driver, Joe Pietersen – Springbok Rugby Player and Rhino Conservationist, Mak1one – Grafitti Artist, Jade De Waal – Founder at Food Jam and Winston Thomas – 2017 and 2108 Barista Champion of South Africa. It was an exceptional night of sheer magic.

“With a shared mission to rebrand African Travel to better resonate with the global traveller, we celebrate the vibrant diversity, unexplored mystery and heartwarming magic of the continent and her islands.”

Travel Designer offers an utterly unique opportunity to spend time with Cape Town Legends, allowing you to not only experience Cape Town like a local but also with a local, ensuring an extraordinary time in the Mother City. Visit them in their homes, studios or kitchens and learn more about the industry they are famous for while getting to know them on a personal level.
