One of my favourite holidays is an overland safari to Mabuesehube in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Southern Botswana. As a family, we take a week here whenever time allows. These pics were collected on the last trip.

Reading under an acacia tree, making the most of the shade in a hote December.

Bathroom run in the Summer rain to put water in our fold up basin. The ‘facilities’ consist of a long drop loo and much appreciated water from a borehole, cold yet lukewarm in the summer.

Watermelon, African skies and sunshine make for a very happy girl …

We shared the campsite with the ground squirrels, amazing little things. Such a treat.
