Namibia – Looking through pics from my visit to Little Kulala Lodge near Namibia’s Sossusvlei, this photo of a lone tree in the desert brought back such vivid memories.

Happened upon on a guided walk, I loved the stark contrast between the dry land and blue sky, with a touch of wispy clouds. A communal weavers nest heavily loaded the one branch … Beauty is everywhere in nature. As is life, and walking in desert land always reminds on just this.

This remains one of the most incredible and remote lodges I’ve stayed at.

NOTE: As much as I love the natural beauty and close connection to nature that Namibia offers, I reiterate my objection to their devastating annual seal culling policy.
