My weekend on Reunion Island attending the Festival Liberté Métisse, or festival of Mixed Freedom. Taking to the beach with the vibrant Creole people for this major cultural and unifying event which celebrates the abolition of slavery, and their shared freedom. Enjoying a helicopter trip to bring scale and diversity to perspective and dancing with the great Danyel Waro who brought Maloya music to the world.
