Rovos Rail. – On the Rovos Rail Journey between Cape Town and Pretoria, one of the stops is at my favourite historic Victorian Village Matjiesfontein. A place I love and frequent. What fun to arrive by rail and take the red bus tour with John the Entertainer. A wonderful all South African attraction.

What it offers – a Car Collection and Museum under the Platform. Railway Tracks connecting North with South. Happiness and history wherever I look. A koppie and veldt with 115 yrs of South African War secrets. Wonderful people, delicious food and endless gardens.

A very special place. If you missed it, I wrote a post about why you should turn of the N1 and spend time here.
