Sundowners are a celebration of life. They are about being outside when dusk falls, about relaxing into the beauty of the surrounds with a drink in hand, as you watch the sun disappear into the ocean …

Which is where Travel Designer comes into it. Finding the perfect vantage point, they park their limited edition Land Rover Defenders, set up their Melvill and Moon safari furniture, lay down the Turkish carpet with scatter cushions before serving you whatever your heart desires, be it champagne or a local craft gin and tonic with carefully sourced snacks. All you need to do is sit back and relax into the softening sun, and be spoilt.

This video shows exactly that, as was the case when Travel Designer hosted a group of international press during We Are Africa.

As I am now working with Travel Designer – and this is one of my favourite ways to spend an evening in the city – feel free to contact me at dawn@theincidentaltourist.com to learn more or to book a sundowner experience. Also, take a closer look at the website and other experiences on offer. The video is filmed and edited by Eden Weiss Videography. Flavours, Feasts, Endless Stories. In the video, the beach kitchen by The Secret Adventurer Henk Brand and Suna Symington Brand.
