Sunshine Cinema

Would you like to join me, the Travel Designer and Sunshine Cinema for a private screening of “Ignite Your Rights Tour” at Just Like Papa on 6th of September 2018?

Sunshine Cinema is a solar-powered mobile cinema housed in a Land Rover Defender called Lamu. This September Sunshine Cinema is driving from Cape Town to the Copperbelt in Zambia showcasing African films to a wide range of audiences along the way. The aim of the Ignite Your Rights Tour is to build a network of youth Ambassadors who will #SPARKCONVERSATION about gender rights and youth dialogue across Southern Africa for the next six months. Meet Sunshine Cinema’s Cape Town based Sunbox Ambassador Paradox at the event, and help us #SpreadALittleSunshine.

If you’re interested please RSVP to Ozzy at or on 076 907 9466. Only those registered will be allowed in. Thanks so much and looking forward to seeing some of you there. You can also join the FB event page.

Sunshine Cinema is a mobile cinema that converts solar power into social impact.

Through screening various types of dynamic educational, interactive content, and media training workshops, they address social and environmental challenges through community partnerships. Since 2013 they have screened to over 8000 direct audience members across Southern Africa. Let’s support them in their efforts to reach more.
