Travelstart South Africa, Writer’s Competition. I won!

image

A couple of weeks ago I entered a competition with Travelstart South Africa, where travel bloggers were encouraged to submit a piece that evoked a memorable travel experience. I wrote about how my time in Benin had been real, raw and life enhancing. And I won!

Simply delighted as the competition was tough with many of my favorite travellers and writers participating. Do look at #wordtravel on Twitter to find their posts.

My prize is two Airlink flights, a gift of great value to a travelling girl. Provisor was travel by 15 October 2012, which pushed me to make rapid decisions and choices from a broad spectrum of destinations. I have booked the following trips:

1. Madagascar for a whirlwind six day look, see, feel and taste. Departing on 11 September.

2. Nelspruit for a return visit to the Trec1000 crew in the Kruger National Park’s Manyeleti, as well as to see a couple of lodges in the area. Departing 11 October.

Thank you for the opportunity Travelstart#WordsTravel Posts and pics of my adventures will be sweetly coated in gratitude. Appreciate the love Grootbos Private Nature Reserve.
