Tuscany’s Siena – A Romantic Walled City That Needs Walking!

Sienna (Siena in the Italian spelling) is situated on three gentle hills in central Tuscany. The Siennese are said to speak the purist form of the Tuscan dialect which at the unification of Italy, became the national language. It is extremely popular with tourists but doesn’t seem excessively crowded, rather charming and inviting.
