VietnamMekong Delta – A family run coconut candy producer including a tasting of the sweet treats. A simple process that has the coconuts milled and heated into a paste, poured out for cooling and then cut into small squares which are hand wrapped and packaged. Really delicious and I brought some home. I respected the fact that nothing was wasted, the husks were used to fuel the fire and the off cuts melted back to product. Wish we had a local producer. a good option for after dinner sweeties.
