Celebrating World Tourism Day with the V&A Waterfront at Radisson Red Cape Town.

The 27th of September is World Tourism Day and I was invited by the V & A Waterfront to celebrate our incredible industry over breakfast. Hosted at the stylish new Radisson RED, a hotel I’d go up in the new Silo District and been intrigued by the bold colours and fresh and unique feel of the hotel that is so inspired by all things art, music and fashion – with a strong focus on being kind to the environment.

It was very good to take a moment to recognise what a phenomenal addition the Silo District and all that it offers, is to our city. Hard to imagine there was nothing here just 4 years ago. This is a rooftop spot that you’ll want to frequent this Summer. Oh, and the hotel is pet friendly, if your pet weighs in at under 8kg, that is. It’s a love at first sight kind of place.
